My car runs like shit sometimes if I run too much boost for 91 octane. The ECU retards the timing like crazy if it senses detonation, so that could decrease power dramatically. At only 11.5 psi, though, it seems unlikely that you should get a lot of detonation unless something else is wrong. I had a certain problem that the amazing Greg Dupree was able to solve a few months ago. It would feel good sometimes, then not pull hard at all other times - didn't matter time of day, weather, or anything. Turns out my fuel pressure reg had a pinhole in it and wasn't maintaining pressure under boost, but apparently did sometimes. As soon as we switched it out, it feels good ALL the time now. Not that you have that problem per say, but it's a possibility.
